§ 2-875.31. Duties; by-laws; officers.

(a)

The Jefferson Parish Charter Advisory Board shall study and review the existing Jefferson Parish Charter and shall submit recommendations to the Jefferson Parish council for any revisions or changes which, in the opinion of the board, should be made to the Jefferson Parish Charter. These recommendations shall be approved by a majority of the members of the board and shall be submitted to the council no later than one (1) year from the date of the first meeting of the board.

(b)

The Jefferson Parish Charter Advisory Board shall establish its own by-laws and shall elect its own officers.
