§ 2-892. Authority of purchasing department.

All purchases of labor, materials, supplies, services (other than professional services) and public works will be made by the purchasing department. All departments will submit all requisitions to the purchasing department and will not undertake to purchase or contract with any vendor, except as authorized in this division.
