§ 2-907. Passenger vehicles and trucks.

(a)

The purchasing department shall request of and receive from all departments their requirements on passenger vehicles and trucks and shall arrange for the bids for the purchase of such passenger vehicles and trucks to be advertised at such a time and in such a manner as to provide for such purchases on a collective and economical basis.

(b)

The award on such bids received shall be made by the council.
