§ 2-997. Application; investigation.

  • (a)

    It is hereby provided that all widows' pension applications will be investigated by an agency to be named by the parish council for the purpose of authenticating the information provided on all widows' pension application forms and the accompanying affidavits.

    (b)

    All future widows' pension applicants will be informed and made totally aware of the fact that all information provided on their application and accompanying affidavit will be investigated in order to provide a method of authenticating all the information provided by the applicant.

    (c)

    Any information provided by a widows' pension applicant on the widows' pension form or accompanying affidavit and found to be falsified by the appointed investigating agency shall provide grounds for rejection of the application by the parish council.
