§ 36-30. Erection of devices by traffic engineering division.

The department of public works, traffic engineering division, shall erect such traffic control devices as directed by resolution or ordinance of the parish council. Traffic control devices may also be erected by the division upon its own findings based upon applicable studies. Traffic control devices erected under the provisions of this section or by the traffic engineering division under the authority granted to the division by this chapter shall be considered to have been lawfully erected, regardless of whenever erected.
