§ 36-145. Notification of impoundment.

If the vehicle impounded has not been reclaimed within twenty-four (24) hours of the time of its impoundment under section 36-144, then the sheriff's office shall notify the vehicle's last owner of record (as determined by the license tags thereon) of the place of impoundment of the vehicle and procedure for release of same.
