§ 8-1-3. Administrative policies and rules.

(a)

The provision of any existing ordinance, or building code previously adopted by the parish, that is not in conflict with the provisions of this chapter are hereby retained as administrative policy and rules.

(b)

The director is authorized to adopt any administrative policy or rule not in conflict with the provisions of this chapter to aide in the enforcement or interpretation of this chapter. The director is further authorized to adopt by reference any code or portion thereof that is not in conflict with the provisions of this chapter as an administrative rule or policy to aide in the enforcement or interpretation of this chapter.
