§ 18-3. Disposal of surplus library books.

Upon the authorization of the department of general services and procurement, property controller's office, the library director may authorize the sale, exchange or other public disposition of surplus library books either at auction or pursuant to a sale or exchange with the public at large in the form of a charity bazaar or the like, provided the proceeds of such sale, exchange or disposition be dedicated to use by the parish public library system.
