§ 19-61. Penalties.

  • If the trier of fact finds any individual or entity in violation of this article, hearing costs, fines and penalties may be imposed as provided in sections 1-10 and 1-11, and corrective measures may be ordered including, but not limited to, the construction of sound absorbing or deflecting walls up to the maximum allowable height, installation of carwash doors or stationary windows, requiring speakers and buzzer volume to be decreased, requiring mufflers on dryers, requiring dryers, vacuums, speakers, or buzzers to be turned off at night, imposing hours of operations on twenty-four-hour repeat offender violators, or any other measure that may eliminate the nuisance.
