§ 23-300. Sexual harassment training.

  • (a)

    Each public employee shall receive a minimum of one (1) hour of education and training on preventing sexual harassment during each full calendar year of public employment or term of office.

    (b)

    Public employees and elected officials shall make use of standardized education and training materials developed by the training division of the department of human resource management.

    (c)

    Appointing authorities and supervisors are to receive additional education and training, to be at least every two (2) years.

    (d)

    Each public servant shall be notified of the mandatory training requirement. The training division of the department of human resource management shall be responsible for maintaining records of the compliance of each public servant with the mandatory training requirement.
