§ 29-171. Existence of lip curbs; sidewalk area to be free of surface materials; sidewalk installation.

  • Where lip curbs exist in front of property that is used or may be used for residential, commercial or industrial purposes, that part of the sidewalk area beyond the limits of a driveway, between the street edge of a paved sidewalk and the back of the lip curb, shall be clearly delineated by being free of concrete and other surfaced materials. When the owner of such residential, commercial or industrial property wishes to install a sidewalk, the width and grade elevation shall be approved by the director.
