§ 29-172. Amount of deposit requirement; refund.

The deposit referred to in section 29-167 shall be twenty-five cents ($0.25) per square foot. The director shall have the right and authority in unusual cases to exact larger deposits than the above prescribed. Upon the completion of the driveway and inspection thereof by the department of public works, if the driveway meets the parish's specifications, a refund of ninety (90) percent will be returned to the depositor and ten (10) percent will be retained by the department of public works to defray the expenses of the necessary inspection.
