§ 29-194. Petition to beautify.

  • Any person desiring to beautify an area, subject to the provision of section 29-122, shall follow the following procedure:

    (1)

    Present a written petition to the parish council setting forth:

    a.

    The area to be beautified, including its boundaries and a diagram thereof;

    b.

    The type of beautification contemplated;

    c.

    Name, address and, telephone number of the applicant;

    d.

    The assumption of the responsibility for completing and maintaining the area sought to be beautified;

    e.

    A hold-harmless clause in favor of the parish in connection therewith.

    (2)

    Obtain the written consent of the parish to beautify the area on such other terms and conditions as may be imposed by the parish council.
