§ 38-2. Exemptions.

(a)

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to vehicles operated by a local transit service over a definite and fixed route or to any vehicles operating under franchises or indeterminate permits issued by the parish.

(b)

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to limousines operated in the course of wedding/funeral services.
