§ 7-177. Enforcement by animal shelter; right of entry upon public and private property.

  • It shall be the duty of the animal shelter to enforce all of the provisions of this article, and for the purpose of securing enforcement thereof the animal shelter director, or any of his duly authorized representatives, shall have the right, and are hereby empowered to enter upon any public or private property, including any building or habitation in the unincorporated area of the parish to inspect such accommodations or installations and the keeping of such animals thereon or therein that may be covered by the provisions of this article.
