§ 23-139. Penalties.

Upon finding that any elected official or person has violated any provision of this division or any provision of applicable laws of the parish or the state, the board, by a majority vote of the membership, may censure the elected official or person; and upon conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction, the court may impose a penalty as provided in section 1-10.
